Toilets

You maybe think that toilets are almost the same everywhere (except for the holes in the ground of course), but there are some differences. Maybe it aren’t huge differences, but every difference is one, right?

Here in Finland there’s a shower hose in every toilet cabin. And it’s not only in some toilet cabins, no, it’s in every toilet in here I’ve been to. There’s just a shower hose. Some people say that it’s for cleaning the toilet cabin, and others say that it’s a kind of a bidet. I’m still not sure what’s the real reason.

There’s also a sink with soap in a lot of toilets cabins, and also outside the toilet in the ‘main’ bathroom. In the beginning when I came here, I thought that there were a lot of people who didn’t wash their hands after going to the toilet, but then I realized that they washed their hands already in the toilet cabin. That’s good to know.
