See ya!

This is already the last post that I’ll write. I wrote 40 posts about my life here in Finland, the cultural differences and other experiences. I really hope you enjoyed reading the post. If you didn’t, maybe you know some things about other or your own country now that you didn’t know before.

Like I said in the last post, 2019 was a rollercoaster year and it’s going to have a very special end. I’ll see my family again. I haven’t seen them for 4.5 months. My sisters visited me, but I didn’t see the rest of the family. I’m really looking forward to see my lovely dog again! I missed walking, cuddling and playing with her. I’m also looking forward to visit my grandma and grandparents again. They’re not that young anymore, and I’m really thankful that nothing happened in the time I was away.

I’ll celebrate Christmas with my parents, my brother and his fiancé, my sisters and my grandmother. I’m sure we’ll have a great, cozy time together, although it’s going to be weird to be back home again.

In January I have a month off, I’m probably going to work the whole month. And in February my internship starts. This also means that the time of freedom is over. Here in Finland I didn’t had to do a lot of schoolwork, but that’s going to change when I’m back in the Netherlands. But it will be fine. I have to accept that the ‘real life’ starts again.

I want to thank you for reading my blog! I hope you learned or recognized something!

So, I wish you a wonderful Christmas and a healthy, happy 2020!
